The Rhode Island Building & Construction Trades Council announced that it has unanimously endorsed James Langevin for reelection of the U.S. House of Representatives and David Cicilline for reelection of the U.S. House of Representatives.

They both aggressively support policies that protect and promote strong government infrastructure, prevailing wage, wage and hour enforcement and other initiatives that help sustain and grow the middle class, and that is why we have endorsed them, ” said council president Michael Sabitoni.

The Rhode Island Building & Construction Trades Council is a coalition of seventeen (16) Local trade unions with over 9,000 members in and around the State of Rhode Island. In total the unions have signatory agreements with over 400 contractors in the local area.
