Langevin, Cicilline announce $1.47M grant for highway safety

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — U.S. Representatives James R. Langevin and David N. Cicilline announced on Tuesday that Rhode Island will receive more than $1.47 million to help protect drivers on the state’s roadways.

The money was awarded through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to support the state’s highway safety and data programs, the Rhode Island Democrats said in a news release from Washington.
